Account & Identity Information: Full name, email address, international phone number (+255 or foreign format), password, role (customer, vendor, delivery partner), and profile picture.
Shipping & Delivery Details: Recipient name, physical street address, district, region (Unguja, Pemba, or Mainland Tanzania), GPS latitude/longitude, and delivery landmark notes.
Payment & Transaction Records: EVPay transaction references, payment method (M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa/Mixx, Airtel Money, HaloPesa, or card), amount, and billing name. (Note: We NEVER store your 4-digit mobile wallet PIN or full credit card numbers; EVPay securely handles financial authentication).
Vendor & Artisan Verification: Business name, TIN/licence details, government-issued national identity cards (NIDA / Zanzibar Resident Card), workshop location, and maker stories.
Technical & Device Data: IP address, browser type, device identifier, language preference, session cookies, and interaction logs.

Order Processing & Fulfillment: To verify orders, notify vendors to prepare handcrafted products, generate receipts, and manage order tracking.
Logistics & Routing: To compute delivery quotes, assign orders to vetted Zanzibar delivery partners, and navigate drivers to your doorstep.
Payment Processing: To initiate automated EVPay USSD push prompts to your mobile wallet, reconcile payments, and disburse payouts to artisans.
Account Management & Security: To authenticate logins, verify phone numbers via OTP, prevent fraudulent activities, and maintain marketplace integrity.

Sensitive vendor documents are stored in private Cloudflare R2 storage buckets with short-lived presigned URLs.

Your Responsibility

Keep your login password and mobile money PIN confidential. Never share your OTP codes or account passwords with anyone.
